Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) continues to strengthen Kenya’s scientific and research ecosystem through strategic engagement with higher learning institutions.
During a recent visit to Maasai Mara University, Dr. Walter Ongeti, CEO of KENAS, and Mr. Stanslaus Alwyn Masinza, Manager of Calibration Laboratories, toured the university’s state-of-the-art testing laboratories — facilities that serve both academic research and the surrounding community.
Welcoming the delegation, Prof. Oloo-Obudho, PhD, EBS, the University Vice Chancellor, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to ensuring its laboratories achieve international accreditation, underscoring that accredited results enhance credibility, reliability, and global recognition of scientific research.
Dr. Ongeti commended the university’s investment in advanced laboratory infrastructure and reaffirmed KENAS’s commitment to supporting universities and research institutions in their journey toward accreditation.
